Lisa Claybaugh (LMCtech) holds degrees in Dance and German
Translation from Rutgers University. As a child she trained in ballet and
branched off into jazz, modern, and musical theater as a teen.
In college, she produced several student dance concerts, taught
ballet at a "competition studio", and started making costumes
for a small modern dance company, Acrodanse Theater.
She spent six years working in the costume industry all over the
country, three of them for the San Francisco Opera. She still freelances,
most recently designing and building costumes for Matt Lawrence, Nina Haft
& Dancers, the Transparent Theater, Ruth Botcham, Randee Paufve, Mary
Fisher and Janice Garrett.
She presently works as an arts administrator in the San
Francisco Bay Area.
