Contributor |
David is a teacher and choreographer
who works mostly in the United Kingdom. He teaches quite a variety
of subjects, including RAD and Cecchetti ballet, modern, jazz,
contemporary, repertoire, body conditioning, GCSE Dance and the
practical section of A Level Performing Arts.
It was his interest in improving the
effectiveness and safety of his class teaching that led David
to study the areas of both exercise anatomy and physiology, which
perhaps explains his long postings on this subject area. Then
in 1998, he returned to academic study by undertaking the MA
Ballet Studies course at the University of Surrey Roehampton.
David's aim is to bring his academic,
performing and teaching experience together in a way that allows
him to give his students the best possible understanding of dance
as an art form in all its diverse aspects.
