The climate in Tallinn
The warmest month is July ( average midday temperature is 21ºC) and the coldest month is February (average temperature -9C), but remember that early morning temperatures in Winter will be lower. From October you must be prepared for snow and bring appropriate clothing.

Like to spend time on a quiet island?

Hiiumaa is a beautiful island easily reached by bus/car and ferry in around 4 1/2 hours from Tallinn.  If you want a change of pace from the busy capital then Hiiumaa is a good option.
