1987/88

Under Artistic Director and Choreographer, MATTHEW BOURNE and Producer, KATHARINE DORE, AMP has over the last thirteen years firmly established itself as the UK's most exciting dance theatre company, noted for its stylish wit and uniquely theatrical dance language.

Winning its first award in 1988 for DOES YOUR CRIMPLENE GO ALL CRUSTY WHEN YOU RUB, Adventures in Motion Pictures immediately established itself as a major new presence on dance scene. Performed as part of Dance Umbrella's 1987 Flying Starts season the production won the "01 For London/Time Out" award.
